Frequently Asked Question

To get your API credentials from your Shopify dashboard, follow the instructions below;

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin Dashboard

2. On the sidebar menu, click on Settings
   
   
   
3. A new page will pop up. On the sidebar menu of the new page, click on Apps and Sales Channels
   
   
   

4. On the page, Click on Develop Apps. It would load a new page. Then click on Create an App

5. Enter the Name of your application and also choose a Developer account (Can also be your account) and then click on Create App

6. After creating the app, you get a new page with different menu options.
   
   
   
7. On the menu on top, click on the Configuration menu option and click on Configure next to the Admin Api Integration option.
   
   
   
8. It loads up a new page where you can enter scopes. Search for the following scopes and click on the checkbox next to them

   • read_orders

   • read_customers

   • read_products

9. And then click on the Save button.
   
   
   

10. After saving the configuration, now navigate to the API Credentials tab on the top menu

11. Then Click on the Install App button to generate your access token
    • NOTE: The Access Token generated is only VISIBLE ONCE so make sure to copy it and store it safely for use on the JazzUp dashboard.
      
      
      

    • Upon installing the app, it generates an access token for you which you copy and then provide on the JazzUp dashboard
